1/2-hour Video Conference with Janie

We can discuss any specific questions you have about your case, review a pleading (a document filed with the court) that you've drafted or that you've received from the other party, or discuss any case-related question that is weighing on you.  Once you submit payment, you'll land on a page where you can schedule the conference.

1-hour Video Conference with Janie

We'll discuss and map out the overall strategy for your case, or dig into the details of one particular issue in your case -- such as reviewing or drafting a document, discussing the terms of a global agreement, or preparing for your appearance and self-representation at a settlement meeting or court hearing.   Once you submit payment, you'll land on a page where you can schedule the conference.

Initial Petitions

 

Probate matters begin with the filing of either an "Informal" Petition or a "Formal" Petition depending on the circumstances of your case.

Informal Petition Filing and Presentation to Court

  An Informal Petition is filed when the decedent's family expects the administration of the estate to be uncontested.  This flat fee includes the preparation of the necessary documents and the presentation of those documents to the Court to obtain a family member's appointment as personal representative of the estate.   The fee does not include the expenses associated with obtaining certified copies of the death certificate and the fee paid to the Court to file the Petition.
